A Kindred Spirit.

Being back in my old ‘manor’ Portabello Road market near Notting hill london, was a nice remembering. Nearly every Friday when I lived here myself and my very good friend Jo would walk the markets for inspiration, goods, laughter and the culture of the market. you never knew who or what you would bump into but the experience would be a different/strange/inspiring one. The other day was no different. Jo and I decided to meet at a place in which I used to teach yoga many years ago because we remembered it had a little juice cafe and lo and behold what did we find but the beautiful Michelle ‘Raw goddess of the market’. We could not believe our luck. Michelle’s food is colourful, vibrant, full of flavour, creativity and lots of love and passion. She pulls her flavours from the West Indies I believe, and wow does she make flavours dance. I extended an invitation to her and her son to come visit Oz and maybe she will share some of her secret recipes. If you are London, find Michelle and her Rainforest Creations!
